Insanity Day 2 – Plyo Cardio Circuit
Insanity Day 2 was Plyo Cardio Circuit.
I have no doubt in my mind that I”m going to burn off the fat after doing this routine. The warm-up was actually pretty good for me. Tiring, but good. I took a couple of very short breaks during it mainly to shake out my muscles (felt like I was cramping in the arch of my foot, and calves were on fire).
Once the actual circuits began, the burn really hit! Legs were on fire, gasping for air, trying to push hard but man, this is one tough workout! I just thought P90X Plyo was hard….cakewalk compared to this (no offense, Tony H., but this one is just a level up in intensity).
I survived, and feel really good for it. My heart rate stayed close to 170 for most of the routine until the end, when exhaustion set in and I was only hitting around 158-162. But it stayed up there quite a bit.
This workout is the real deal.
And I cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings!
