P90X Day 17 – Shoulders And Arms (Ab Ripper X)

Ahh Wednesdays….my favorite P90X workout so far:  Shoulder’s And Arms, more affectionately known as shoulders, bi’s and tri’s.  This was my last go at this before recovery week so I pushed myself on ever exercise….so much to the point that I could only make it through half of the bonus round!

Reps were up, weight was up on a lot of the exercises.

And here is the amazing news:

Remember how I had written yesterday about running out of energy?  I took the one extra carb, got more sleep, and was able to do more in Ab Ripper X than any previous time.  I can finally do sit-ups!  Sounds bad, doesn’t it?  But considering some of the exercises I had to modify just to do (even part of it), if felt good doing the full exercise today.

Being honest here, I’m struggling a bit with the diet.  I’m finding it hard to get all of my portions in this week.  I need to spend time and plan 1 weeks worth of meals up front, but time has not been on my side for that.

Yoga X is looming in the morning.
