P90X Diet Planning And Start Date

Ok, I am a bit behind in blogging about this as the last 3 days have been incredibly busy.

The one thing that scared me about P90X was the diet; not that I could not do it, but how to figure it all out and meet the needs of the rest of my family while allowing me the right proportions and calories per day.

And after sitting down and planning things out with the wife a bit, I think we have it figured out.

One thing about me that will help is I am not adversed to eating the same thing several times a week, especially if I like it.  There are several things that fit into the portions that I love and can make work very, very easily.

So we have started planning a list of things and believe we have a rough idea of what to do for the first week.

My main goal will be to have my proteins fairly balanced throughout the day (I’m a level 3 aka big boy and have to get 3,000 calories and 9 servings of proteins).  The last thing I want to do is get to supper and be 4-5 servings short.

The other thing is I’m aiming to have my 1 serving of carbs done by mid day.

So with all of this in mind, the diet starts on Monday, March 16 and the routine begins Tuesday, March 17.

Time to bring it!

We are going shopping tonight, so I will update everyone on what we bought particlar to the diet, what meals we plan on doing, and how it all works out.
